Bible Study
Bible Study sessions are generally held each Tuesday morning at 10 AM at the church office conference table. All parishioners are invited to attend these informative one-hour sessions that offer ample opportunity to not only study Holy Scripture, but also to learn more about the various facets of the Orthodox Christian faith. Each session begins with a prayer, followed by the "Housekeeping" portion which allows for any announcements or information regarding the Orthodox community locally and worldwide, then the main study section and ending with prayer. Each Bible Study session is led by Father Dino, but the informal atmosphere allows and encourages participation from everyone who attends.
The Bible Study is currently examining the Lord's Prayer as outlined in the book "A Layman Looks at the Lord's Prayer" by Phillip Keller.
From time to time, the Bible study takes a hiatus depending on the liturgical schedule or Father Dino's attendance at conferences, etc. Please refer to the parish newsletter "The Saint Katherine Chronicle" or visit the Events Calendar for the most up to date information regarding the schedule.
Drop by next Tuesday and feel free to bring a friend!
