We invite parishioners to participate in our Leaf Program commemorating our loved ones. Each golden leaf is engraved and permanently attached to either our Tree of Life or our Memorial Tree. Each leaf is a donation of $1000 and you can choose to make the donation over a 3 year period. You can download the form here. The deadline to get your Memorial Tree Leaf read during the Memorial Day Service is May 14th.
On Sunday, May 7th, we have a Festival Meeting following the Divine Liturgy. This meeting will focus on determining the cooking schedule. All those interested in volunteering to help cook for the festival are welcomed to attend this meeting.
On Saturday, May 13th, the Philoptochos will host their annual Mother's Day Luncheon. Tickets are $35 for adults and $8 for children under 10 years of age. Tables of 10 are still available. Deadline for reservations is May 3rd. Please see a Philoptochos member or contact Mary Kondos to make a reservation.
On Sunday, June 4th, Greek Food Imports, owned and operated by our own, Kostas Panayotakopoulos, is bringing famous comedian Angelo Tsarouchas to Sacramento! Let's kick-off summer together with some fun and laughs in June! Tickets are $65 per person, and includes the live comedy show, appetizer, salad, main course course (lamb, pork, or chicken), dessert (baklava, galakotoboureko, or kathiropita), and one non-alcoholic beverage (per person). Ticket/table reservations must be purchased in advance and checks mailed and made payable to: Greek Food Imports, LLC., 650 Fulton Avenue, Sacramento, CA, 95825 no later than May 15th. Along with your check please also include the names of each guest and the choice of each guests main course and dessert. We are happy to put together a group of people who want to attend.
